I've never had a better frozen margarita! The food is equally impressive and delicious. It's a small place and I'm not a fan of sitting so close to other people that we can hear every word of each others' discussions. But overall the vibe is nice. Staff is friendly. They did mess up my husband's order. He ordered 3 tacos - shrimp, steak and ground beef - they skipped the shrimp and gave him chicken which he was really disappointed about (he's not a huge fan of chicken). We had a movie to get to so didn't bother with it but they did still charge us for the shrimp (which obviously means this was a kitchen error, not a server error). However even with that mistake - the food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious (IMO just a bit overpriced) and we would def come back (esp for the margaritas).

The place is really nice. Authentic atmosphere and courteous service. The food is excellent (we took nachos and tacos) and we were very satisfied. It's nice that it's here in the center of the neighborhood. A little expensive but the food is excellent. Enjoy

The most amazing hole in the wall! I've passed this restaurant countless times over the years and never thought to go inside until recently- so happy I did. While it's very small, the staff is accommodating and it's worth the wait for the food! The drinks are plentiful and the vibe is a lot of fun with great music and cool decor (lots of license plates from various US states). I'm totally going back!

5 Burro Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. The dishes are rich with traditional flavors, and the drinks, especially the Micheladas, are both authentic and delicious. My gf and I went together for our first meal arriving to NY from FL - she got the cheese quesadilla and I got the chicken enchiladas. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, creating a perfect backdrop for a great meal. The customer service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make you feel welcome and attended to. Whether you're there for a casual dinner or a celebratory meal, 5 Burro Cafe delivers a fantastic dining experience.

My absolute favorite restaurant of all time! Easily the best margaritas (both on the rocks & frozen) in Queens, hands-down! My favorite thing on the menu is the chipotle chicken quesadilla - it takes a long time for it to get to the table (they do warn you of that while you're ordering!) but it is absolutely WORTH THE WAIT! They have the best decor - I love looking around at all of the out of state license plates & pictures on the walls. The downside is they don't take reservations & they are almost always packed but there's a bar next-door you can always grab a drink and wait for your table in .. try this place out & thank me later!

Best margaritas! The service is great! The portions are huge! The wait time can be a bit long but it's definitely worth it! The steak fajitas are amazing! And the chicken flautas are perfect! They are consistently amazing every time!

No Wine?! No Sangria?! I was appalled! But if they do Margaritas, then that's what it is. Unfortunately I don't do Tequila so I opted for the Strawberry Daiquiri. It was flavorful, but not too strong. It felt good going down though because it was hot up in there. It's a very small restaurant. You will definitely hear the next tables' convo clearly but they bring you water and chips and salsa immediately so you can start eating that and strike up your own convo. The salsa was good. A tad bit spicy for me because I'm a mild one but still good.' I ordered the Salmon Fajitas and my boyfriend ordered chicken quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. My food was absolutely delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly for me. Tender and the skin was off. The onions were sweet, the rice, the beans, the pico, everything absolutely delicious! My boyfriend enjoyed his quesadilla as well. The servers were very nice and accommodating. They only lose a star because of the bathroom. The bathroom was disgusting. Pee and tissues all over the floor. And the bathroom is so small, you have no choice but to step in it. Garbage toppling over. I was mad I had to use it once I saw it. Otherwise, it was a good time.

Haven't been in this place in a few years, but not much has changed and that is not necessarily a bad thing. On a Saturday evening unfortunately it was a 45 minute wait at 6 PM. But after the weight, everything was all uphill from there. Great service great margaritas, very flavorful food. We were tempted to hang out at the bar after our meal but we had other plans. I really like this place because the service is prompt and they do not rush you. The house salsa has a kick!!

I love this place and come here regularly. First, the atmosphere is chill, usually with great music, which varies from rock to more old popish and Mexican depending on who is working...and the staff gets to know you and seems to act friendly to everyone. Really great place! Usually go for our regular order: 1) Nachos sin carne 2) Chicken fajitas and 3 margaritas but changed it up this time with the Combo Fajitas, the Enchiladas Suizas, and other times we have brought Questo Fundito aficionados from Cali and they were impressed....always been really happy with everything ordered...the food taste, the drinks, its quality, the atmosphere and the staff. Last think the price is great...hope nothing changes so we continue to eat here about once a week for a long time to come...

This cozy spot in forest hills queens never disappoints. Continue to come here after 25 years plus . The steak salad and frozen passion fruit margarita are our go to.
